Hello there everyone! I hope you all had a happy whatever you celebrate. I had a merry Christmas and made out like a bandit... I got an iPod nano (3rd Gen), three more HD-DVDs to add to my growing collection (Four Brothers, The Italian Job, and Shooter), two regular but still awesome DVDs (The Simpsons Movie, and Superbad: unrated), a Venom chest-symbol T-shirt, a free year to Busch Gardens, a carseat for my soon-to-be-coming-to-this-world son, XBL points, a toaster and iron plus some cookware (I know what you're thinking, but my wife and I asked for these), money, and a free Blackberry Pearl for me and my wife. I also won a Halo 3 Edition Xbox 360 from one of their official contests, I gave it to my mother however since I was in the contest for the huge entertainment system. I would have given the Xbox in that package as well to my parents since she wanted one so badly (She really likes DDR and my Dad is into Hexic HD).

Although I have not been on here for a while, it doesn't mean I haven't been working. My wife and I have been slowly settling into our house and having a baby shower and check-ups. I have been painting and trying to clear up my son's future room. I have been laying out the pages to the first issue of my comic book and it's coming along nicely. I have left the webcomic alone for a while and hope to get back on track as soon as possible, the latest being once my son is born.

Great news as far as the freelance part of my business is concerned! I just offered my services to my first two clients! The first learned of me through my best friend. I made a wedding program in a comic book style layout with the likenesses of everyone in the wedding party, you can see the finished pages on the gallery, my customers were extremely happy and I was told the people who attended the wedding couldn't stop talkiing about it. That's even better for me because my clients allowed me to advertise on the back cover. My second client was actually my aunt. After she saw what I had done with the wedding program, she wanted me to make a custom Christmas card with the likenesses of some of my cousins and their puppies.. you can see that one on the gallery as well. I have also heard some other people have an interest in what I do and may have use for my work in a project of theirs. I think I may just try to get the ball rolling on that one and hand them my business card during lunch.

That's all I can think of for now. I am currently looking for more to do with my custom jobs, so if you like what you see in the gallery and think I could be just the guy you're looking for... Don't forget to e-mail me. See you later- Davee Bee

Weil it's been a while hasn't it? I had Writer's Block for a while and couldn't work much on anything. Well now I'm back baby! I feel pretty refreshed after celebrating my birthday on the 4th. I saw Transformers and it blew me away, I couldn't ask for anything more from that movie. Shia (Sam) did an awesome job, and I see him becoming the next big thing. Both the Autobots and the Decepticons looked great on screen and the story flowed well. I won't give away any spoilers to the movie, but you most definitely need to stay during the credits. Three additional scenes will appear during the credits and the third is the most important one of all.

In addition to seeing an awesome movie for my birthday, I got quite a few gifts to keep me busy. Hopefully, not so busy that I forget about my website for another almost-month-and-a-half. I got four Xbox 360 games this week: Guitar Hero II, Dead Rising, The Darkness, and Transformers the Game. I also got a few HD-DVD's to feed my 360's little buddy.

Guitar Hero II is friggin amazing and addictive... and amazingly addictive! I never played the first one so hopefully XBL will release some of those songs and that 80's mix too. I'm quite aware that the game does not teach you to be a badass guitarist, but I am trying to learn guitar and I think that this game offers great practice for finger dexterity. This game should be on every tour bus and in the room of any aspiring guitarist.

I finally took time away from GH2 to sample my other games. Dead Rising is now my favorite Hack n Slash game of all time. I don't think any game will make going to a mall this exciting ever again! I died just in the first few moments because I was pissed at the old lady opening the mall door to get her pink poodle. There always has to be some stupid someone-or-other making it worse for the rest of the people trying to survive the zombie invasion. I love covering the zombies' heads with buckets and big lego men heads, it makes them walk around even more stupid-like than when they could see.

The Transformers game has it's good and bad points. I will confirm, just as other reviews have, that the driving controls suck! I know that the Transformers are "More than meets the eye," and not actually cars, but the handling could at least have been as good as GTA III. I do love the transforming action and some of the fighting mechanics. It is a bit repetetive, but throwing stuff at your enemies using things from your environment is a lot of fun! I still got quite a ways to go in this game I only played up to the end of the chapter where I kill Barricade as the ass kicking Bumble Bee. So I have yet to sample the flight mechanics with Starscream. Hopefully the flight will be less disappointing than the driving.

I haven't had a chance to play The Darkness yet, so maybe you'll hear back from me on that.

Enough of my birthday goodies though. With my recent Writer's Block, I am much happier with the latest scripting I have worked on for my action comic and it is nearing the completion of the first issue. I finally got an idea for my second webcomic issue and I hope to work hard enough on it to give it to you by the end of this Saturday. I also have thought of a few T-shirt ideas for my store. So once my friend gets back from his road trip I'll discuss getting them printed. Well I'm gonna get to work on issue #2 of Davee Bee. See you later. - Davee Bee

Updates coming at ya! Since my last update I have been able to see SM3. Overall... Not bad, needed more polishing. The story between Sandman and Peter Parker was by far the best part of the movie. The black suit had it's moments and made for some great action. Some of the problems I had with the movie involve a lot of the storyline itself. First of all, the film could have done with a full three hours easy. Gwen Stacey didn't play a major role at all in Peter Parker's life except as a puppet to get back at MJ for breaking up with him(I always thought Gwen was his girlfriend first before he acutally hooked up with MJ, I may need to brush up on my Spidey reading). Now some might disagree with me here, but I think Topher Grace played an excellent Eddie Brock. The only problem with his character was the script didn't build him up enough. Give me a break! It took only two very minor things to boil Brock over the edge before he started begging God to kill Parker!? I know he's a psycho, but it was even more crazy of a move to make him go psycho so quickly. I have to agree with some of my friends on this as well... There should have been a SM4 centered around Venom. You know that footage of Venom that made it around video blogs for a while? Well I think that should have been the introduction to a Venom story at the very end of the movie... Zoom into that toothy mouth and roll credits! Venom's facial graphics were also nothing to brag about, believe me I know what it takes to be able to animate something like that but the rendering was still poorly accomplished, which is why they kept pulling away to reveal Brock's face I think (it was a nice touch though). The Harry/Peter story (sorry... couldn't resist) was also put together rather well and ended perfectly. I still think it is a pretty good Spidey movie, better than SM2, but it doesn't beat the first in the series.

I had a chance to play SM3 on my 360... Not bad, needed more polishing(It needed repeating). Can you say "Stop moving the damn camera!"? That was the ultimate complaint I had with this game. As soon as you go inside a building the camera becomes very twitchy. Spidey may have Spider Sense but it's useless if you can't see him using it. You do get used to it after a few missions and after that it's a natural part of the game. The high resolution is not very noticeable from a distance, there are some nice textures on the buildings when you get up close, but you are Spidey remember? Most of the time you will be swinging at blurring speeds to ever notice it. The Spidey game model is impressive, you have to take a close look but you can actually see that the webbing on his costume is raised slightly, not just an embossed texture to give that 3D look. I loved the Cineractive cutscenes. Although flashing the buttons right in the middle of the screen while you try to enjoy an up close and personal moment between the Lizard and Spidey took away from some of the beauty, it was nice to be involved in the cinematic sequences. I have not yet been able to beat the game unfortunately... When I was three missions away I finall received my data transfer kit from Microsoft so I could put all my 20 gig data onto my 360 Elite's 120 Gig hard drive. I don't have any memory cards so I wiped away the game saves that were on my Elite when I did the transfer so I have to play spidey all the way through again. Although games like Oblivion have much more re-playability, I won't mind playing through SM3 again, It's a good game that is haunted by movie release time constraints. Activision knows they could have done better if they were given the time. I am interested in learning more about the game advertised on the back to the manual of my SM3 booklet. Anyone who owns the game should know it as Spider-Man: Friend or Foe . There is only a teaser site up currently. But if I heard correctly... This is where Activision says "Hey! Look at the kick-ass Spidey game we can make when movie producers aren't telling us when we need to finish a project!". Personally, I can't wait for updates on this game!

Reviews aside now, I have more of my comic book scripting finished. Hopefully I don't push this first issue past 40 pages, but I gotta do what I gotta do. As soon as I finish this script and a content briefing of my story complete with graphics and stuff, I promise to get this thing copyrighted and share it with the masses! I'm thinking once production is heading in the right direction I will distribute one of those preview books for comic book stores to sell and hopefully give Wizard a teaser they might think is good enough to write about, or at least advertise(I'll settle for that). I just got back from my vacation celebration my firt wedding anniversary and ready to get back to work! I've got a few ideas for cool t-shirts swimming around that fantastical brain of mine, but the bait is a little outdated... So more to come from my design department. My art department is whipping up some more stuff for the gallery. I'll be placing a fan art section in there as well. So please check back for gallery updates when you get the chance. See you soon. - Davee Bee

Great news everyone, I have finally uploaded the first issue of my webcomic! You can see it on the Comic page (you know, in case that wasn't obvious). Now for bad news, I can't sell my first t-shirt design because of certain Intellectual Properties and Copyrights. I should have seen that coming, but oh well. At least I can still keep it on the website as fan art! I've come up with a great idea though, why don't I come up with designs that were not inspired by someone else's work and avoid the legal mumbo jumbo all together? Well that's just what I'm going to do. I hope to get more designs up ASAP. On another note, Spider-Man 3 is out today and I am stoked! I have to wait until Saturday to watch it but I don't think the wait will hurt me too much, I want to try to get the game by this weekend as well. I'll need to brush up on my persuasion though because I have to run this purchase by the "Joint Account Holder"(my wife... oh hey honey if you're reading this....umm Vancey loves you). If all goes as planned I should have a movie and game review for you by the end of the weekend. Until then I hope you enjoy my comic. - Davee Bee

Hello Everyone! I've been doing quite a bit of work today and hopefully it will show within the upcoming week. I finished my first t-shirt design today and you can view that on the store page. Currently it is not available for purchase but hopefully it will be soon. I aIso have another t-shirt on deck waiting to get those finishing touches before I upload it. I now have thirteen pages fully scripted on my graphic novel. I've also been contemplating releasing issues first once I have reached a nice break in my story line. I don't see a need to make you wait so long for a graphic novel when most comic book companies realease quite a few issues before a graphic novel collection is produced. I know I haven't mentioned any details about my comic book's story line and I apologize for that. For the time being, I will need to keep details to myself. Once I've gone through the proper channels I will keep you updated every step of the way... Unless the information leads to something that gives away a plot that I would prefer to have you read. In other news, I have finished the pencilling of my first webcomic episode and scripting of the next few, so you can look forward to seeing those this week. The forum will be a while longer. I am anticipating to start hosting it sometime in May. I can't wait for everyone to register for my arcade! For those of you wondering about my gallery, you may need to do that just a little bit longer. Sure I have plenty of old stuff to put on the gallery... But that would be like givng you a hand-me-down flannel throw. Sure it's comfy and it keeps you warm, but it's still flannel. The only time that's still in style is when it's in the lining of your sleeping bag and your on a camping trip. Be sure to keep checking back because I got plenty more updates to do to this site before I take an official break. Seriously, My Xbox 360 misses me dearly, and I her... umm him! Yeah, HE is my bud! We just haven't hung out lately, you know... Manly companionship and all while we help each other scale buildings in Crackdown... I'm just gonna go. - Davee Bee

Welcome to daveebee.com! everything is still under construcion but moving along nicely. I am the one you will come to know as davee bee. Since you probably do not know what the site is about why don't I start from there? Davee Bee Inc. is currently an upcoming company run solely by yours truly(davee bee, if you haven't figured that part out yet). I plan to use this website to document my progress on a project that I hold very dear to my heart. I am currently working on an action graphic novel that is currently in the scripting process and I am also in the process of designing a game based on the story of my graphic novel. More will come to light as this site gets finished. Since this project is at the moment a one-man job, I have thought of a few ways to entertain my future follo...um...Fans. I have been putting together a web comic based around the cartoon character you see to the left. His name is Davee Bee, so if you haven't put 2 and .31479 together quick enough, that means he is a cartoon version of me. It will cover his less realistic, but hopefully funny exploits as he breaks into the gaming and comic book industry(I'll have more of a bio on him later though). I will constantly be adding content to my gallery. Whether it be game concept art, comic book art, story boards, or random sketches, I plan to let you see them(aren't I sweet?) Here's a taste of one drawing you may see in the gallery when it's "fully operational".

Feel free to give me some constructive criticism if you want, if there's one thing that does work on the site right now, it's my email link and my myspace page(well... That's two things). I will be hosting a forum on here once I can scrounge up the dough to pay for the licensing. The cool thing about the forum is that since I know you anxiously be waiting to play my game while I am working on it you will get to pass the time by playing on the arcade hosted by the forum. It records high scores and you can challenge other registered users to stay on the top. I figured that would be a cool way to have contests for free stuff once my next feature is up'n'running. That's right, next on my list is merch. I have two t-shirt designs almost done and plan to have a few more before full launch. If that wasn't enough to moisten you palette, I will share the links of sites I like to visit. Finally, I will have a F.A.Q. list. I will try to be psychic and answer some questions I think might be asked or just anything I feel like answering, but I would also appreciate any questions from you that you would like to see on the page. I hope to see you again soon! - Davee Bee
