Frequently Asked Questions (And questions I decided I'd answer even though no one has asked them yet)

Q: Who is Davee Bee?

A: Although it is also the name of my company, Davee Bee is an identity I came up with for my media nickname. I wish it was thought up by one of my friends so I could give you a cool back story, but sadly it was not. I just thought it would be a cool artist nickname that has a catchy brand title for whatever endeavors I choose to take on during the birth and life of the company.

Q: What does Davee Bee LLC do?

A: You might not see much right now. I work a full-time job on the side which does not leave me much time to make this website and company flourish quickly. Hopefully, in the near future I can work part-time and devote more work helping this website grow faster. Don't worry though I am still working hard to put some type of product on here for you to ponder a possible purchase. The main project I am working on is an action comic that I am writing, illustrating, inking, coloring, lettering, and self publishing (I don't have a printer made for bulk comic book producing, so I'll let another company do that). I am also designing a game based on the story line (So I don't spoil the comic book plot this will obviously be ready at a much later date, however there will be concept art to come soon). Although I have a well paying full-time job, there's no way that I can use that income alone to fund my projects. With that said I am currently designing t-shirts that I will sell online (With luck, I will sell enough to not need a business loan for some of the equipment I need). If I decide to do more, you can be sure to see what that is on this page. Be sure to check updates on the Home page as well regarding any progress I make.

Q: What kind of comic book are you working on?

A: As mentioned above, it is an action comic. As much as I want to embelish on the story on this page... You can look forward to updates regarding the comic book on the Home page and possibly some concept art and character bios in the gallery. Since I am doing this all by myself I am making sure to set a reasonable goal for myself so I can still finish the project incase it bombs, I'd much rather get the sense of completion than a profit (But if I do profit it will be a nice plus!). I will tell you that the main story does have a beginning and an end. It will probably last as long as a standard graphic novel (however, it will be shipped as smaller issues first). Better yet, I will fill as many pages as it takes for me to reach a satisfactory end to the story. I say "satisfactory" only because, as much as I want there to be an end to the story, I also want to provide more to the story if there is enough demand.

Q: When do you plan to release the game?

A: Since the game will follow much of the story line of my comic book, I don't want to spoil the story by releasing too early. My hopes are to release it at the same time the last issue of my series. There's also the possibility that I will package it with a limited edition graphic novel.

Q: What kind of game is it?

A: It's a 2D platformer with 3D acceleration. If that's not a great explanation... It will look like one of those games where your character is running and jumping around the screen, fighting bad guys and bosses and possibly collecting stuff as well, but the characters and environment will be 3D models and textures. So in other words... Totally Freakin Awesome!

Q: What kind of t-shirts will you be selling?

A: I want to gear the designs more towards gaming culture. I will also design t-shirts based on the characters of my web comic. However, if I just happen to come up with a catchy design that doesn't fall into one of those other categories I might just have to sell that too!

Q: How often will you upload your Webcomic?

A: I don't have any set dates or timeframes currently in place. So for now I will play it by ear. Perhaps, once I am working part-time, I will have a weekly update schedule. I'll be looking into releasing volumes once I have established more webcomic episodes. That way, you can carry me any where you go! Yay!

Q: What's going on with the Forum?

A: The short answer: Money. The Long Answer: I know I have a free one with the webhost I'm registered with, but I have a more specific one in mind, that will allow you to play arcade games and track your highscores when you register for the forum. I'll keep you updated on that.
